About UsPastorsPastor Marler
Pastor Marler

Our Senior Pastor since November 1998, is the Rev. William R. Marler, who came to Springfield in 1986 and served 13 years as Campus Pastor and Trinity Associate Pastor, overseeing Trinity's education ministry. He is a 1983 graduate of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, where he remained until 1986 pursuing his post-graduate studies in Church History. During this time he also received his first divine call, Lutheran High School South, St. Louis, where he served as pastoral counselor and instructor. He has served on numerous circuit, district and Synodical boards and committees, and also teaches a class in the history of religion in America at Missouri State University. He is thankful that the Lord has left him here to serve Trinity and the Springfield community. "I am excited about Trinity's future, about the faith and love this congregation has for all saints, and the Gospel that is growing and bearing fruit among us." (Colossians 1:3-6)
